Rent the AlphaTheta RMX-IGNITE – effects and samples for your DJ set
The AlphaTheta RMX-IGNITE is the successor to Pioneer's legendary RMX-1000 remix station. It combines high-quality DJ effects with a sample player and takes builds, breaks and drops to a new level. At Akari in Berlin you can rent the RMX-IGNITE – for club nights, festivals or live sets.
Lever FX and Isolate FX
The Lever FX (Echo, Reverb, Juggle, Reverse, Solo, Stretch) are controlled with large levers – either spring-loaded for short accents or latching for long transitions. The Isolate FX (Tape Echo, Reverb, Drive, Filter, Ducker, Rhythm) sit on three large knobs. Both effect groups can be applied specifically to highs, mids or lows. For example, you can put an echo on just the hi-hats while the kick runs through clean.
Sample player with drum machine sounds
You play samples live using four pads – including sounds from the Roland drum machines 909, 808, 707 and 606. With sample rolls, 4-beat recording and overdubbing, you can build your own patterns directly in the set. You can load your own samples in WAV or AIFF format via a USB stick.
Connect to your mixer
With the Pioneer DJM-A9, the DJM-V10 and the DJM-V5, you connect the RMX-IGNITE with a single USB-C cable – digital, lossless and with automatic latency compensation. On other mixers, you use the analog send/return via 6.3 mm jack. The device detects the tempo automatically; with Pro DJ Link, it takes BPM and beatgrid directly from the CDJs.
Good to know
- The level is automatically adjusted – there are no separate gain controls.
- No headphone output: you hear the effects through the mixer as usual.
- Ideal for house, techno and all styles where builds and drops play a big role.

Transport by Akari Audio
Akari Audio offers transport of the rented equipment for an additional fee. The costs depend on the distance and the size of the order and are calculated automatically when you send a request via our website.
